Given the critical nature of healthcare, education and government-owned facilities, any delays in delivery can have significant consequences, escalating costs and disrupting vital services that serve and protect the public.
Healthcare, Education and Government Sector
Healthcare, education and government-owned buildings are designed to serve and protect the public, requiring robust, reliable solutions that guarantee optimal security, functionality and long-term performance. Given the critical nature of these facilities, any delays in delivery can have significant consequences, escalating costs and disrupting vital services.
With our proven expertise in efficient project management, value-engineered designs, and early-stage planning, Bachy Soletanche helps mitigate delays and ensures smooth-running programmes. Our approach ensures that this vital infrastructure is delivered on schedule to meet public demand, while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

We work closely with our partners to minimise environmental impact and contribute positively to local communities. Whether integrating electric plant, employing local labour, or supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), Bachy Soletanche is dedicated to creating lasting benefits for future generations through responsible, forward-thinking solutions.
Techniques
Bachy Soletanche offers the full scope of ground engineering techniques that are required for healthcare, education and government construction projects, including all types of piling (such as CFA, LDA, CSP and restricted-access piling), retaining walls (such as secant, contiguous and diaphragm walls) and grouting (such as permeation, jet and compaction grouting).
Case Studies
Help For Heroes Recovery Centre, Plymouth
The project was located on land that was contaminated with asbestos, hydrocarbons and heavy metals, therefore the client undertook a programme of ground remediation prior to piling works commencing. The £23 million complex is a purpose-built facility for both veterans and service personnel coping with life-changing injuries and mental health issues.
Upper Riverside, Greenwich Peninsula
Home to over 15,000 new homes as well as new schools, offices, health services and public spaces, our team provided the design and geotechnical works for London’s largest regeneration project. The Upper Riverside phase was to deliver foundations for five new buildings, with a pile design carefully avoiding proximity to the Jubilee Line tunnels beneath the site.
