Bachy Soletanche is excited to announce its success in being shortlisted for seven categories at the 2025 Ground Engineering Awards.
The company’s commitment to excellence, innovation and safety has been recognised across various award categories, showcasing its leadership in the industry. Bachy Soletanche has been shortlisted for the following:
- Contractor of the Year: for geotechnical excellence, industry contributions and commitment to innovation.
- Apprentice and Graduate Programme of the Year: for its Plant Maintenance Technician Apprentice Programme, designed to foster career progression in the geotechnical sector.
- Award for Equipment Innovation: for an electric concrete pump and agitator set-up developed in collaboration with Arup, Canary Wharf Contractors, and Premier Concrete Pumping – Camfaud.
- Health and Safety Award (x2): The Bachy Soletanche and Balfour Beatty Ground Engineering JV have been recognised for two significant safety initiatives on the HS2 project. The nominations are for their development of concrete blow-out training and a comprehensive one-year programme aimed at improving safety, sustainability, and wellbeing.
- UK Project with a Geotechnical Value of between £1M and £3M: for the Eden Dock marine piling project delivered by Bachy Soletanche, Arup, Canary Wharf Contractors and Red7Marine.
- UK Project with a Geotechnical Value over £3M: for the One North Quay piling project, executed in partnership with Arup and Canary Wharf Contractors.
- Rising Star Award: Ahmed Saadeldein, Bachy Soletanche Design Engineer

The 2025 Ground Engineering Awards ceremony will take place on 18th June 2025 at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel in London, where the winners will be announced.
